The free trial lasts 14 days from firm creation. It does not require a card when started from “Start trial”. If you subscribe during the trial, secure checkout confirms the monthly or annual billing interval.
Subscriptions renew monthly or annually depending on the option selected at checkout. Currency, price and plan are shown before payment. Renewal can be cancelled before the next billing period.
You can cancel renewal from Settings > Subscription and payments by opening the firm secure billing portal. If the portal is unavailable, email [email protected] from the firm administrator address and include firm name and account email. Cancellation prevents future renewals; paid access usually remains until the end of the current period unless termination is required for breach, security or law.
To request a refund, email [email protected] with payment or subscription identifier, account email, firm and reason. We review requests for duplicate charges, a technical issue that prevents use and cannot be resolved, unrecognized charge, or accidental annual renewal reported within 7 days of charge.
Refunds are not guaranteed for used periods, lack of use, customer misconfiguration, change of mind or terms breach, except where required by law or expressly approved by CortexLex. Approved refunds may be full or partial.
Approved refunds are processed through the payment provider back to the original payment method where possible. Bank or card network timing depends on the payment provider and issuer.
After cancellation or termination, the firm keeps an export window according to plan and terms. Retention, deletion or anonymization then follows the contract, privacy notice and legal obligations.
